Carol joined Loudoun Country Day School in 2019.  In the last 20 years, she has taught in Loudoun County Public Schools, at The Wakefield School in The Plains, and at Chesterbrook Academy in Sterling, Virginia. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre.  She discovered “the place that felt like home” while substitute teaching when her children were in elementary school. She returned to school and earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Virginia. The Wells family has lived in Loudoun County since 1982, and their two sons, Timothy (30) and James (27), graduated from Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn. Carol and her husband enjoy spending time together and like to find new places to go and things to do.  She also enjoys reading, writing, and making art with chalk pastels.
