Heather Stemp began working at Loudoun Country Day School in 2020. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Buffalo State University in 2005. After a few years out of college, she found a passion working with young children and furthered her education at Arizona State University earning a Master’s in Education; Curriculum and Instruction of Early Childhood Education. She has taught Kindergarten in both Arlington County and Loudoun County before beginning her career at LCDS. Heather has a love and enthusiasm for teaching kindergarten. She loves making a difference and enabling each student to reach their full learning potential academically, socially and emotionally while encouraging creativity and having fun. Heather lives in Leesburg with her husband Chris, and two boys, Austin and Finn. Heather enjoys gardening and being outdoors as well as playing with their family dog and taking care of their chickens.
