Ms. Kormos is coming into her 11th year of teaching and her first year at LCDS.  Attending Emory and Henry College, Ms. Kormos learned the value of service work as an Alphi Phi Omega service fraternity member and as Bonner Scholar. The latter required Ms. Kormos to actively participate in an afterschool program to help struggling students in the local Appalachian region.  It is here that she discovered her passion for educating and how important it is to instill a sense of giving back to one’s community, country, and world in turn.  In her personal life, Ms. Kormos enjoys writing poetry, dancing, being by water, and taking in nature while going on hikes in the surrounding area with her four children. Ms. Kormos is thrilled to be a part of a school that embodies so many of her own philosophies on educating and empowering future generations.
