Jenna Knickerbocker joined LCDS as an assistant teacher in 2018 after regularly working as a substitute teacher since the Spring of 2017. She has also led numerous LCDS summer camps and worked as a counselor for many years. As an LCDS alum, Jenna has the unique perspective of experiencing the school as both a student and teacher, which benefits her interaction with her students. She has a passion for helping children grow both academically and emotionally and believes that LCDS provides the perfect environment for children to do both. While assisting the 3rd-grade team, Jenna is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Maryland University College and is planning on taking the necessary steps to become a teacher. Outside of school, Jenna’s interests include singing, volunteering with various animal rescue organizations and exploring nature with a camera in hand.
