Victoria Cunningham has been with LCDS since 2016. She graduated from James Madison University with both a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching. Prior to moving to Northern Virginia, Victoria lived in rural southern Virginia, where most of her family still resides. Since becoming a NoVa resident, she has taught fourth grade for Manassas City Public Schools and third and fifth grades for Fairfax County Public Schools. She joined LCDS as the lower school enrichment teacher before transitioning into the role of librarian. Her love of reading and project-based learning is well-utilized within the LCDS library program, with a heavy emphasis on student interest and real-life experiences. Victoria is an avid Washington Capitals fan (Go Caps!), reader and runner. Some of her favorite books include the Harry Potter series and Wonder. In her free time, she loves to take her four-legged friend, Maddie, on long walks to explore new places!
