LCDS Admissions

At Loudoun Country Day School, joyful learners become confident leaders.

At LCDS, we embrace eager young learners in a holistic educational experience designed to instill the joy of learning and develop well-rounded, well-grounded students with the skills to excel in school, the confidence to pursue their passions and the humanitarian spirit to make a difference in the world.

On our close-knit campus, a passionate and talented faculty engages preschool through eighth grade students in state-of-the-art classrooms where high expectations are set and met with a careful balance of nurture and nudge. Accelerated academics are integrated with an extraordinary array of what most other schools consider the “extras,” but LCDS recognizes as essential to developing the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative growth of each child — from STEM to arts, athletics and outdoor educational programs.

Early leadership is fostered in small classes that allow students to join in, speak up and gain confidence. An interdisciplinary, experiential curriculum immerses students in deeper, more meaningful learning that challenges them to think critically and creatively while empowering them to take ownership of their own growth and success. A strong focus on character education and service learning fosters global citizens with strong core values of honesty, integrity, perseverance and kindness. Students emerge from their LCDS experience confident, self-assured and exceptionally well prepared.

The best way to experience all that LCDS has to offer is to visit our campus. Please contact us for more information about our program or to schedule a personal tour. I look forward to meeting you!
