Admissions Timeline

  • September - January

    • Schedule a school tour with our Director of Admissions.
    • Submit your online admissions application.
  • November - December

    • Schedule campus admissions visits: developmental screenings for prekindergarten and kindergarten applicants and activity sessions for all applicants through first grade. 
  • January - February

    • Forward requests for teacher recommendations and school transcripts, as applicable for your grade level of interest, via your applicant portal.
    • Schedule campus visit for full shadow day experience for lower and middle school admissions.
  • February

    • Submit tuition assistance application (optional). The deadline of Friday, February 14 is strongly encouraged for first consideration of resources.
    • The completed application, including required documentation, testing and student campus visit, is due no later than Monday, February 24 for first consideration of available placement.
  • March

    • As members of the Association of Independent Schools of Greater Washington (AISGW), notification of the admissions decision is forwarded via email on Friday, March 7 at 4:00pm.
