Mayor Kelly Burk Visits LCDS Pre-Kindergarteners
This week, we were honored to welcome Mayor Kelly Burk, who is currently serving her fifth term as Leesburg’s Mayor, for her annual visit to our Pre-Kindergarten class! Our young students dressed to impress and were eager to greet such an important guest. They shared their hopes for a better future, including ideas for more animal shelters and hospitals, while asking insightful questions and offering thoughtful suggestions.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our Pre-Kindergarteners to engage with the Mayor and showcase their curiosity and passion for making a positive impact in the world. We look forward to many more visits like this in the future!
