First-Grade Students Celebrate Chinese New Year with Dumplings, the Zodiac, and an Exciting Kung Fu Performance!"
Our first-grade students had a memorable experience celebrating Chinese New Year, thanks to the generosity of a first-grade parent. The afternoon kicked off with a fun video introducing the Chinese Zodiac and the traditions of the holiday, followed by a hands-on dumpling-making activity where the students got to try their hand at a cherished cultural tradition.
The celebration wrapped up with an exciting Kung Fu Bronze Sword performance by two skilled young students from the Professional Martial Arts Academy. The students were amazed by their impressive demonstration, offering a unique look at Chinese martial arts. We’re grateful for this opportunity to give our students a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and create memories they’ll cherish.
