2021-2022 Re-enrollment Contract

In consideration of the re-enrollment of the children listed in this contract, we, the undersigned, agree to pay the full tuition for the 2021-2022 school year, and we agree to the following terms and conditions:

Terms and Conditions

A nonrefundable deposit of $1,700.00 per student ($250 per student for those applying for financial assistance), is to accompany this Re-Enrollment Contract and be returned to the school by February 26, 2021. Options for paying the balance of the tuition are indicated below in this contract.
A one and a half percent (1.5%) per month late fee will be added to all unpaid balances after 30 days. In the event of nonpayment of tuition or other charges, Loudoun Country Day School may, in its sole discretion, deny enrollment, class attendance and participation in school activities, withhold academic reports and transcripts, revoke this Re-Enrollment Contract, and/or dismiss the student from school. All unpaid amounts due may be placed with or collected by or through an attorney at law or collection agency, and we (I) shall be responsible for the payment of Loudoun Country Day School's fees and costs.
I/We understand that Loudoun Country Day School must be informed, in writing, if a student is to be withdrawn at any time. The School must receive notification by June 1, 2021, or the parents or persons having financial responsibility for that student are liable for the full tuition.
Loudoun Country Day School reserves the right to defer the grading of a student and withhold credit for courses, transcripts, report cards, recommendations and any other forms of correspondence until the account is fully paid. The issuance of a Re-Enrollment Contract form does not automatically ensure the acceptance of a student. In cases of academic deficiency or unsatisfactory adjustment to school life, the Headmaster may refuse the re-enrollment of a student. Loudoun Country Day School reserves the right to dismiss or suspend at the discretion of the Headmaster, any student whose academic progress or conduct is deemed unsatisfactory. In such cases, the parents or financial guardian remain liable for the full year's tuition. This contract must be submitted by the person(s) having legal custody or financial responsibility (or both) for the child's tuition. A student may be denied entry on the first day of school if satisfactory financial arrangements have not been made.
The school's duties and obligations under this contract shall be suspended immediately without notice during all periods that the School is closed because of force majeure events including, but not limited to, any fire, act of God, hurricane, war, governmental action, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, or any other event beyond the school's control. If such an event occurs, the school's duties and obligations in this contract will be postponed until such time as the school, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen. In the event that the school cannot reopen due to an event under this clause, the school is under no obligation to refund any portion of the tuition paid.
A successful education program requires a partnership among students, their families and the school. Loudoun Country Day School reserves the right to dismiss without reimbursement of tuition or to deny re-enrollment to any child if it determines that a child's parent(s) or guardian(s) have refused to cooperate with the school or to abide by the school's policies, rules, and regulations. A statement of Parent Rights and Responsibilities is published in the Parent/Student Handbook.
